anti cellulite treatments – Types of Anti Cellulite Treatments

When you wake up and look in the mirror, do you see a beautiful woman? Or do you focus on that annoying cellulite that has built up around your thighs? Many women, some estimate as many as 90%, deal with cellulite at some point in their lives. There are several types of anti cellulite treatments that you can choose from. While some women prefer to simply have surgery to get rid of troublesome cellulite, there are other anti cellulite treatments that are not as invasive or expensive. These types of anti cellulite treatments can be done at home and can even be done while you relax at the spa.

Anti Cellulite Treatments

Surgical anti cellulite treatments are invasive methods that can have severe risks involved. Liposuction is the most well-known of these anti cellulite treatments. This treatment removes the fat cells that cause cellulite but other methods will need to be used in order to improve skin’s appearance. Two other surgical anti cellulite treatments are used that are currently being evaluated by the FDA. One involves the injection of a chemical compound into the cellulite area. The other uses a needle and local anesthetic to remove the fibrous bands that give cellulite its look. Both of these anti cellulite treatments are still being investigated to determine how safe they are.

Two popular anti cellulite treatments that are approved by the FDA can be done in a doctor’s office on as an outpatient or even in a comfortable spa. These anti cellulite treatments are IPL (intense pulse light) and radiofrequency. IPL treatments are sometimes combined with massage and help thicken the skin by increasing collagen. Radiofrequency devices use radio waves which help break up the cellulite which is then flushed out of the body. Both of these Anti Cellulite Treatments have proven to be successful for many people in getting rid of cellulite.

One of the most popular types of anti cellulite treatments are topical creams and lotions. These anti cellulite treatments are affordable and many women find that they work well. Lotions and creams do not get rid of cellulite permanently but can help reduce its appearance. Some women say that these anti cellulite treatments not only improve their skin’s appearance but reduce the overall size of the cellulite area. A lot of women enjoy using creams and lotions because their skin is moisturized and they enjoy the scents from the herbal ingredients that are in many of these anti cellulite treatments.

Not all cellulite treatments are created equally, and it is important to evaluate the potential of a product prior to purchasing it. A quality cellulite treatment must be formulated from compounds that are capable of actually penetrating deep enough into layers of skin to deliver the active ingredients to the cells that they need to affect in order to create noticeable results. Additionally, the stated active compounds should actually be capable of reducing cellulite; such ingredients should be able to minimize pockets of fat, which should in turn reduce the appearance of cellulite. Finally, a cellulite cream's ingredients must all be of the highest quality and should contain compounds that can work to tighten and smooth skin in order to combat the drying effect of cellulite. Below you'll find some of the top cellulite creams, as well as ratings evaluating how well each of these creams meets these standards of quality.
