Cellulite is a problem for many women and prevents them from wearing any type of clothing that reveals their dimpled skin. The problem does not discriminate, as any woman can suffer with cellulite whether she is thin or overweight. Many factors can contribute to the problem, including age, heredity, stress, pregnancy and even fluctuations in weight, so are the anticellulite cream products safe to use? This is difficult to answer as anticellulite cream products are as diverse as the problems that the cellulite to form. Are there some anticellulite cream ingredients that are safer than others? When looking for an Anticellulite Cream there are some things to keep in mind.

Some anticellulite cream products offer the user all-natural ingredients. These ingredients include coffee, green tea and vitamin A. You may find that coffee grounds made into a wrap is one the most effective home treatments for cellulite. Vitamin A helps the skin by promoting circulation and cell turnover. Green tea works by fighting free radical damage to the skin. The all natural creams absorb easily into the skin and help promote blood circulation after the application. Other natural ingredients included in some anticellulite cream products include aloe vera, rosemary, guarana, glycol and black pepper. The anticellulite creams with natural ingredients are safe to use.

While the anticellulite cream products use natural products, they use other products as well. Some contain chemicals such as aminophylline that helps de-solidify fat deposits by stimulating the product of enzymes. This helps the fat be reabsorbed into the blood stream. It also helps tighten the muscle and improve the appearance of the skin. It is estimated that approximately 70 percent of anticellulite cream products on the market are effective in varying degree at reducing the appearance of cellulite and do so safely. Some are so effective that results are seen in as little as two weeks.

While the anticellulite cream products are safe for the most part, there is one ingredient in some creams, DMAE, that has caused cell damage in some women, but experts agree it is safer than surgical procedures. Pregnant women who wish to use an anticellulite cream need to discuss the different options with their doctor to make sure it is safe. The same is true for breastfeeding women. Some cellulite creams products may contain ingredients that are absorbed into the bloodstream and not safe for an unborn or breastfeeding child. However, these anticellulite cream products are safe when used as directed, but if you have any question, ask your family doctor.
