By: Melissa Snyte

If you are one of the many people that suffer from dark circles under your eyes, you have probably tried a number of different things to treat them. However, when getting more sleep and reducing stress isn’t enough, turning to specialized circles under eye cream can help. Circles under eye cream is designed to treat the sensitive skin around the eyes without damaging it, effectively removing dark circles under and around the eyes. Here, we’ll go over how to use circles under eye cream to treat dark circles, as well as how you can make your own circles under eye cream at home.

Circles under eye cream works by gently exfoliating the skin around the eyes, and helps restore the skin’s natural smoothness and color. Most creams and lotions can irritate the sensitive tissue around the eye, so using a specialized circles under eye cream is important. Simply apply the circles under eye cream once or twice a day, per the instructions of your particular product, for the duration of the treatment period. Most types of circles under eye cream will take effect within a few weeks, though some products may need to be used for as long as two months before providing visible results.

You can make your own circles under eye cream at home using a few simple ingredients. The primary two ingredients for circles under eye cream are a wax and an emollient. Most professional skin care experts recommend using beeswax, because it is soothing on the skin and gentle enough for the tissue around the eyes. Olive oil is a common choice for the emollient. You can also add additional ingredients to the circles under eye cream, such as aloe vera, chamomile oil, rose oil or cucumber juice. Each of these ingredients has its own unique effect. For a more soothing circles under eye cream that will help relax the skin, use chamomile oil or rose oil. To reduce puffiness around the eyes, use cucumber juice. Aloe vera can help restore color and smoothness to the skin.

Circles under eye cream is an effective way to treat dark eye circles. When making your own, simply heat the wax and emollient until the wax is just liquefied, then combine the two in a blender and mix for five minutes. Afterwards, add the other ingredients to the blended circles under eye cream. Apply this circles under eye cream twice per day for two weeks, then once every other day as needed.
