Facial Wrinkle Facts
A facial wrinkle is one of the first signs of aging. People from around the world experience wrinkles and even though everyone comes from a different background, the reason for those wrinkles typically remains the same. The number of wrinkles and the size of those wrinkles vary from person to person. Just as everyone gets their first gray hair at different times, so too does everyone get their first facial wrinkles at the same time. Some people get wrinkles in their late teens, while others are well into their fifties or sixties before it happens. Almost everyone finds at least one Facial Wrinkle at some point in their life.
Hydration is just one reason why your skin develops wrinkles. Have you ever left a piece of fruit sitting out on the counter? If not, then leave an apple or tomato sitting out for a week. The moisture inside the apple keeps it ripe and juicy for the first few days, just as your skin stays hydrating and blocks any type of facial wrinkle from forming. As the moisture slowly dries from the flesh of the fruit, the skin of the apple starts wrinkling. You develop your first facial wrinkle in the same way. When your skin loses moisture, you naturally develop a facial wrinkle.
The loss of moisture causes puckering of the skin, which eventually leads to wrinkles, but it is not the only cause. You typically find your first facial wrinkle on a frequently used area of your face, such as your mouth or forehead. A mouth facial wrinkle occurs because you move your mouth more than any other part on your body. Talking, smoking, and even eating forces your mouth and lower face into different positions. You see the development of a facial wrinkle on your forehead because of the way your forehead moves and changes shape on a daily basis.
Some products claim that they remove one type of facial wrinkle and others work on wrinkles all over your face. You have the option of using those products, or trying some products at home. Herbal supplements and changing your diet can help fight your first Facial Wrinkle. Try eating foods rich in Vitamin E and Vitamin C, or taking multi-vitamins that contain the recommended daily dosage of those vitamins. The vitamins improve collagen levels, increase elasticity, and generally attack the deficiencies and problems that lead to wrinkles. Whether you have one facial wrinkle or a more serious problem, you can still fight the problem.
