How Can I Get Long Eyelashes?

There are plenty of ways to fake the look of longer Fuller eyelashes as long as you have the right tools. With an eyelash curler and some voluminous mascara, any woman can achieve the look of longer, fuller, darker lashes within minutes. However, it can be a tricky process that requires a careful hand. Gently clamp down on the eyelashes with the curler starting at the root and work your way up to the tips. Be careful not to squeeze too hard or you risk pulling out lashes.

Using voluminous mascara, carefully apply working from the outer corner first. Use slow gentle strokes and a good eyelash brush to remove any clumps. A brush also allows you to even out the mascara coverage. If you lose your lashes by accidentally pulling them out or due to an illness, there are ways to encourage longer lashes to grow back. First and foremost, you must eat a diet that consists of plenty of vitamins and minerals. This helps to strengthen the hair on your body and add vibrancy, including your eyelashes.

Consider the use of eyelash supplements as long as the FDA approves them. For example, Latisse is a popular supplement often used to promote longer, healthier lashes. Many people also consider eyelash extensions; however, this is an expensive approach and can take a couple of hours to complete whereas the application of supplements only takes a few minutes each day for healthy results. The only difference is that supplements do not guarantee results. It is best to try using supplements for at least 2 to 4 weeks so that you can determine if the supplement is working for you.

If you use a supplement that does not provide you with longer lashes, try switching to a different supplement. The process of finding the right supplement so that you can get long eyelashes requires trial and error. Therefore, you must have patience since it can take time before you see any results. If you have an illness that causes your eyelashes to fall out, therefore preventing you from experiencing the long lashes you desire, you may have to speak with a physician about additional forms of treatment. Lash loss may be a sign of Alopecia, a common disease that causes hair loss.
