Lip Plumper – Volume to Lips

By: Melissa Snyte

Lips are a visible part of everyone’s face. As with every part of the body, the lips will begin to age and lose their young look over time. The longer a person lets this go on, the harder it can be to get them back to their youthful look. The most common issue people have with their lips is that they are too thin and skinny. This can easily be fixed with different lip plumper products. There are many products of this nature on the market. There are even procedures that can be done to help the lips have a better and younger look.

A lip augmentation is the most drastic of the lip plumper options. With this option, a cosmetic procedure is done. The lips are injected with one of a few different compounds. This compounds act as a filler to the lips and the lips, after the procedure, will have a thinker and more voluptuous look to them. The cosmetic procedure can be hard on people as the lips are injection and the natural part of the body is changed. The only downfall to these procedures is that they are not permanent. The filler will wear off over time and another procedure will need to be done to keep up with look that is being created.

A less evasive type of lip plumper procedure is to use a lip gloss or a lipstick. While there are many lip glosses and lipsticks on the market, there are a few that have additional components added into the mix. These components are what help make the lips have more volume and a thicker look to them. Lip glosses and lipsticks are applied in the same way that a traditional lipstick or a lip gloss would be. They are gently applied to the lips a few times a day.

For anyone who uses a lipstick or a lip gloss as their chosen lip plumper, they need to know that to achieve their desired results, they will need to wait a bit long for the results. With a lipstick or a lip gloss, the results come across more gradually and take a bit longer to be seen. The length of time typically needed with a lip gloss or a lipstick is generally about a month. Even with the longer wait time for results, the end result of thicker and plumper lips will be worth the wait.
