Manicure is a treatment which is use to make your hands look more beautiful, become softer and also your nails look clean and great.
There are three things in it you can treat your hands or nails or both of them with the help of this treatment called manicure.
It is basically a cosmetic beauty treatment. Normally in a manicure one generally files and shape up the nails. Also polish is applied to the nails to make them look more attractive.
Generally in the procedure of manicure hands are soaked in a soft substance and then a hand lotion is applied to the hands. Manicure is actually comprised of two Latin words manus and cura. In Latin manus means hands and cure means care.
The place and the equipments used while doing manicure should be clean and everything should be placed properly. Everything top from the table to the towel, everything should be clean and hygienic.
Procedure:
First the old nail polish is removed. Also artificial nails are removed if used.
Then hands are washed with soap and hot water.
Then after cleaning of hands nails are trimmed down and give a proper shape with the help of a filer.
Filer should be moved in only one direction, from the corner towards the centre of the nails. This should be repeated till the desired shape is acquired.
Then the cuticles are pushed with the help of cuticle pusher. It is advised to use a wooden cuticle pusher; a metal cuticle pusher may damage your nails.
Then the finger nails are polished with the help of polishing board. Polishing board is made of hard foam, plastic and paper.
Manicure is usually finished by applying coat of color or transparent nail polish and massaging the hands with the help of a hand lotion or oils.
Manicure helps you get a more presentable hand. This is an ancient technique. It helps to beautify your nails and make them more attractive.
In latest technique of manicure many artificial gels and acrylics are used to beautify your hands. Also imitation jewels are also used to enhance the beauty.
Now a days artificial nails are used commonly. Generally it is found that many women have a problem of weak nails and breaking nails naturally. This makes them look bad and hence many started using artificial nails. They also makes you hands look more beautiful and good.
