Strixaderm MD is an anti-aging skin care line designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Its core product, No Wrinkles Now!, is an “instant wrinkle reducer”, which works by plumping and filling lines. Its main ingredients are a mixture of protein complexes, moisturizing agents and synthetic complexes.
The company’s official website is still under construction, so there’s little info regarding clinical trials and testimonials. The company’s original cream, used to treat wrinkles as well as stretch marks and cellulite, has since been discontinued, and this cream is currently only available in the UK. No Wrinkles Now!’s main active ingredient is palmitoyl pentapeptide, a wound-healing protein that promotes collagen and elastin growth to reduce wrinkle depth. This is also the main ingredient for Strixaderm’s entire line, including anti-cellulite products. The treatment also contains Bio-PGA, a derivative of Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid, which is a naturally-occurring moisturizer in the body and is effective over a 24-hour period.
Also included is Symdiol 68 T, a synthetic compound with moisturizing and antioxidant properties, and which also helps retain moisture in the skin to plump up deep wrinkles. In addition, a series of proteins based on Sweet Almond Extract also acts as an enhancer and soothing agent. The product’s ad copy promises an instantaneous reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, but without an “unnaturally rigid effect”. Aside from this info, there is no complete list of ingredients, but another site states that the treatment is suitable for all skin types, hypoallergenic and paraben-free.

Strixaderm MD – The Bottomline
Strixaderm MD’s skin care line doesn’t seem to be making any waves, but this is largely due to its lack of current availability in the US and an official site that hasn’t yet launched. There have been some positive reviews online, but these appear to have been selected by wholesale vendors eager to sell the product. Since there is no official site, there’s limited availability even online and no before/after photos to see what to expect (or when). With this in mind, perhaps it’s best to wait until the official US site is no longer under construction, so we can start seeing some good hard scientific evidence to convince us that this is better than the many Botox alternatives that are already out there.
