The Accent Machine – What it does for Cellulite

By: Melissa Snyte

Many of you have probably at least heard of the popular hit TV show called “The Doctors,” and you may be a regular viewer of the show. They talk about all kinds of pertinent health information, and give good, informative answers to many different health related questions. Recently, they had a show where they talked about cellulite, the dreaded “cottage cheese” skin. A woman with some cellulite problem areas (thighs and butt) came on the show and was introduced to a device called the Accent machine, which she was able to try. The results astounded the audience, and showed a real breakthrough in cellulite removal.

Cellulite is usually very hard to get rid of because it is fat that the body cannot burn, no matter how many lunges and squats you do. Burnable fat is found near or on the bones, but cellulite rests just underneath the skin, and most of the more conventional techniques used to remove cellulite don’t really work, and if they do, the results are only temporary. The effects that the Accent machine has on cellulite are much more permanent than any other cellulite removal device, cream or technique out there, and the end results are also much more rewarding with the Accent machine.

What does the Accent machine do to remove cellulite? It uses 2 types of Volumetric Radio Frequency Thermo Therapy – UniPolar and BiPolar. These frequencies shrink the size of the fat cells underneath the skin and diminish cellulite. Using the Accent machine will also give you smoother, firmer skin, improve your circulation and flush harmful toxins out of your body while improving the fluid system in the targeted area of your body.

How does it work? The Accent machine is made up of 3 lasers, and it works through heat instead of massage. 2 of the laser beams use heat to infiltrate the layers of skin, and the third laser beam cools off the skin so that the patient does not experience any uncomfortable levels of heat. The only negative effect this device will have on your skin will be a little bit of redness on the target area, but this only lasts a few minutes. The lasers do not burn or puncture the skin at all, so you don’t have to worry about that.

Sometimes people may have other skin imperfections on the target area, and they are surprised to find out that after using the Accent, these imperfections are gone along with the cellulite. Sessions with the Accent machine are very pricey, so having it do more than one things at a time can actually be a way to save some money. Sessions can cost up to $2500, and patients are always encouraged to come back for a total of 10 times to see lasting effects on their cellulite. I know that $2500 will seem like a lot of money to some people, but when you consider the cost of plastic surgery, and the fact that you have to keep going back to your surgeon for monthly visits for any cellulite removal procedure, you will really save money with the Accent machine.
