Treating Wrinkles for Youthful Look

Wrinkles are cause of natural process and no one can escape from its effect. If you are thinking for right wrinkle treatment then you need to know about wrinkles and its formation. For this purpose you need to understand your skin construction and its building. Skin consists of many layers.

Prominently these are divided into three main layers:

The outer layer: The outermost layer is visible to us and is called as epidermis. This layer is comprised of skin cells, pigments and proteins.

The middle layer: This layer is also called as dermis and is comprised of nerves, blood vessels, oil glands and hair follicles.

The inner layer: This layer is called as subcutaneous layer and is comprised of blood vessels, sweat glands, fat and some hair follicles.

The skin layers are embedded with connective tissue along with collagen fibers that supports the elastin fibers in order to get good flexibility and strength to the skin.

How wrinkles form?

Usually younger people do not show wrinkles as there skin works well in keeping the skin stretched and moistened. The moisture holding capacity of skin avoids the possibility of wrinkle formation. As your age starts progressing skin loses the water holding capacity and hence skin becomes more prone to wrinkle formation.

The presence of elastin gives young appearance to the skin. On the other hand, collagen protein present in dermis also avoids wrinkle formation. As the skin dermis loses the collagen and elastin, it becomes thinner and shrinks down. Due to this the skin becomes unable to supply sufficient moisture to epidermis. Along with this the fat present in subcutaneous layer that makes skin looks plumy also loses it appearance and it overall shrink down. This ultimately causes the skin to sag and results into wrinkles formation.

The process that causes such kind of alteration in connective tissue lowers the elasticity and strength called as elastosis. Such processes are more common in people who are chain smokers and the skin areas that are mostly exposed to sun rays.

Wrinkles correlated to aging

Wrinkles in actual sense are related to aging but it need not be compulsory. People those in their 20’s also cause wrinkles especially under the eyes and so we can not correlate wrinkles to aging. The early wrinkle formation may be due to excess exposure of skin to harmful sunrays.

Very few people get first line in their 50’s and 60’s as they must have taken care of their skin right from the starting ages. Though genes are also responsible for such condition but natural care delays the process as it is a natural part of aging.

Treatment and anti-aging remedies for preventing wrinkle

The treatment for wrinkles depends on the principle of reversing or overcoming the process that causes it. The skin can be prepared back to increase its capacity to hold moisture by using various advance technologies. The deficiency of collagen and elastin causes aging and hence if we rebuild the collagen and elastin can lower the wrinkle formation.

This aging condition can be delayed by regular use of sunscreen, moisturizer that will help you to keep away from aging.

The cosmetic industry currently offers a variety of wrinkle creams from a number of brands. To make the process of selecting a wrinkle cream as simple as possible, we've evaluated each cream on its ability to fulfill our requirements for a quality wrinkle cream. To be specific, we believe that a wrinkle cream should include ingredients that offer antioxidant protection for skin, in order to delay the onset of noticeable aging. At the same time, wrinkle creams should be able to renew skin, typically by containing compounds with collagen-stimulating properties. Additionally, such a cream should improve both the texture and appearance of skin by offering both long term anti-wrinkle benefits and hydrating agents to create smooth, firm skin. Listed below are the top wrinkle creams, according to these important characteristics.
