Tripeptinon: Does Tripeptinon Work?
Tripeptinon – Overview
The makers of Tripeptinon, AminoGenesis, describe Tripeptinon as a ‘facelift in a capsule’. The Tripeptinon website shows ‘proof’ in the form of before and after photos, illustrating how the formula eliminates wrinkles, evens the skin tone and reduces sagging with one daily application.
Whilst the Tripeptinon site itself is not overly informative, more details can be found on the AminoGenesis website, along with a lengthy explanation of the role amino acids play in obtaining healthy, wrinkle-free skin. There is a very good FAQ section, plus a list of the other skin care products in the company’s line. Tripeptinon seems to be their best-selling product and was voted as the Editors Choice for ‘Day Spa Magazine’. The product is offered for a free thirty day trial and has a 100% money-back guarantee: unfortunately there are no terms and conditions provided, so it is not known if the consumer is enrolled into an auto-shipping program upon making an order.
Tripeptinon – Product Description
Tripeptinon is a skin care product contained in individual capsules. One capsule is broken and applied to the skin in the evening, after cleansing, for a total of six weeks.
The formula is scientifically based, rather than derived from natural botanicals, and was developed over a number of years by AminoGenesis. Each capsule contains three key ingredients, Caramide 2, Ubiquinone and Amino Acid Oqliopetides. The first ingredient protects and repairs against environmental damage i.e. from the sun, wind etc, and repairs the skins important connective tissues below the surface. Ubiquinone is an anti-oxidant used to fight damaging free radicals in the body whilst the last substance, Oqliopetides, has the function of triggering collagen producing cells to plump and rejuvenate the skin. There are a number of other ingredients listed as being in the formula, most of which moisturize and hydrate the skin. Although all the ingredients are listed in full, no amounts are given and the product does contain fragrance, making it unsuitable for sensitive skin.
Although it seems likely that clinical trials were performed on Tripeptinon during its development, none are mentioned on the website.

Tripeptinon – The Bottomline
Tripeptinon is only available through internet ordering, something not all consumers are comfortable with. However, there does not seem to be any consumer complaints filed against the AminoGenesis company, and it appears they are a genuine, established manufacturer.
Given the active ingredients contained in Tripeptinon, it is likely that over time the product would have a positive effect on some of the signs of aging, although it is probably not the ‘facelift in a capsule’ as claimed. The same results could probably be achieved using a similar but less costly cream or skin serum.
