How to Make Eyelashes Grow Back

The first in our 6 tips on how to make eyelashes grow is to load up on your daily vitamin intake. If you’re not getting enough vitamins and minerals[1], invest in a good quality multivitamin to ensure that you’re getting all the nutrients you need. You may also get these vitamins from fruits and vegetables so make sure that they are always present in your diet.

Vitamin E[2] is essential for healthy skin and hair. A good vitamin b complex supplement on the other hand will ensure that your hair grows at a strong and steady state. Make sure that your B complex supplement contains folic acid – it will help your skin retain much needed moisture. What’s more, folic acid[3] (or B9) will help you retain your natural hair color and slower the process that causes your hairs to turn gray.

Oil Up

Jojoba oil is wonderful oil that enhances your natural lashes. Jojoba oil has been used since the old ages to help increase hair growth. Jojoba oil’s strengthening properties are also beneficial for the hair on your head. Applying jojoba oil on your lashes before going to bed is a surefire way of enhancing what you already got. If jojoba oil is too expensive or hard to find, then you can always use olive oil.

Aloe Vera

It’s a good thing if you have Aloe Vera in your backyard. If you don’t, then you can always buy a tub of Aloe Vera gel. The same way with oil, you can use this on your lashes to make them look fuller and longer. Aloe Vera is a great alternative to oil especially during the warmer months because of its cooling effect.

The Vaseline Route

If you don’t have oil or Aloe Vera, you can always use Vaseline or petroleum jelly. Apply it on your eyelashes (and eyelids if you must!) every day to encourage the repairing process.

Onion and Gartlic

If you think that lengthening mascaras are the only trick in the book, then you’re wrong. It has been scientifically proven that consuming copious amounts of onion and garlic can help speed up the hair growth process.

The Glaucoma Medication

A drug used to treat glaucoma has been known to increase the growth of eyelashes. Marketed as Latisse, this is probably the last route you should take because it’s a relatively recent eyelash enhancer and there hasn’t been any reported side effects as of yet.

With these tips, you are assured of wonderful and lengthy lashes that every woman has been dreaming about.
