6 Beauty Essentials to Pack when Going out on Vacation

Love to be on vacation but always hated the inconvenience that often came with it – from packing your luggage to settling down at your vacation home? Some of the stress and discomfort comes with the inaccessibility of familiar things, including beauty essentials that are part of your daily beauty and grooming routine.

You can’t do away with luggage limits, however, or you’ll be putting up with bags that are too heavy or even pay fees due to excess. Below are six beauty essentials that will do you well not to leave behind.

1. Facial Cleanser and Moisturizer

Facial Cleanser and Moisturizer

The trouble with products you use for your face, including facial cleanser and moisturizer, is that your skin can become irritated if you traded these to other brands even just for a weekend. So, get your go-to products in your bag, and make sure they’re less than 100 ml if you’re taking a flight out.

2. Tweezers

It may be easy to get hold of razors at the hotel or resort where you will be staying but, not quite as easy to get yourself a pair of tweezers. These can serve plenty of uses while you’re on the go. Use it to pull out hair overgrowth in your eyebrow area or armpits.

3. Makeup Basics

Makeup Basics

A concealer, a foundation or transluscent powder, eyebrow and eyelid pencils, a lip balm and two lip shades, that is, in nude, and a burgundy or deep plum are all you need to find in your makeup kit. You’ll have all the things you will need whether you’re having a weekend or weeks long vacation.

4. Nail Kit

Bring the entire set with you only if you’re taking a road trip but, make sure to take only the non-sharpie essentials, the nail file and your 2-in-1 nail pusher and nail cleaner, when you’re flying. Leave the sharp tools behind so as not to get into trouble with airport security.

5. Mini Hair iron or Hair Curler

Hair Curler

Being away from home is never an excuse to wear unruly hair for the entire duration of your vacation. If you prefer to wear your hair long and straight, pack your flat hair iron. If you prefer some curl and volume, bag your hot hair curler. It’s always a must to wear flattering locks or, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life because your unmade up hair will be all over the vacation selfies you’ll be clicking away.

6. Toothbrush and Toothpaste. Hotel toothbrush and toothpast can be so unfriendly to your teeth and gums. Make it more hygienic and convenient for yourself while you’re away by packing toothbrush and toothpaste, best tagged along travel-sized of course!
