TIFF 2016: The Best Dressed Celebs on the Red Carpet to Watch Out For
The brightest stars in the planet all touched down in Canada for the 41st Toronto International Film Festival. Here are the 10 best dressed:
1. Shailene Woodley
The actress’ envious physique was adorned with an Elie Saab full length, embroidered halter gown in forest green. She plays the character of Lindsay Mills, the girlfriend of whistleblower Edward Snowden (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) in the documentary film “Snowden” directed by Oliver Stone.
2. Kate Mara:
The actress donned a sleek, wet look, short hairstyle for the premiere of “Man Down” where she stars opposite Shia LaBeouf and Gary Oldman. She wore a flattering black Marc Jacobs calf-length dress with eyelets tastefully placed from the sleeves, down to the hems. She paired it with pumps from Christian Louboutin.
3. Haley Bennett
She is the only female in the cast of “The Magnificent 7”, a classic western set in the late 1800s which was first released in Hollywood in 1960. Haley wore a brocade red dress with gold prints all over it. Although the black belt seemed a bit out of place, the dress was still gorgeous.
4. Dakota Johnson:
The “Fifty Shades of Grey” actress walked the TIFF red carpet wearing a sheer and flowy full length floral gown from Alexander McQueen. Dakota was at the TIFF for the premiere of “Black Mass” where she stars alongside Johnny Depp.
5. Emma Stone
The actress was every bit fresh and dazzling in a pale yellow embroidered dress from Chanel, paired with ankle strapped pumps in the same shade from Christian Louboutin. She wore a cutesy headband that highlighted her pretty curls too.
6. Kate Winslet:
The actress graced the TIFF red carpet in a Badgley Mischka full length halter gown with detailed sequins on both sides of the top half. The figure hugging gown gave Kate’s body a firm appearance, and its simplicity let the natural beauty stand out. Kate stars in “The Dressmaker”.
7. Amy Adams
The actress continues to set the glitz and glam on the red carpet at the TIFF wearing a plunging full length red gown from Alexander McQueen which comes with a fantastic bejeweled collar.

8. Naomi Watts
The actress was simple and chic in a Roberto Cavalli flowy purple dress with floral details while attending the premiere of “The Bleeder” where she stars with Liev Schreiber.
9. Kate Hudson
The actress everybody loves to remember for her unforgettable romantic flicks was in a meshed, see through, black gown with spag straps for the premiere of “Deepwater Horizon”. The top half was adorned with silver embellishments while the bottom half was embroidered.
10. Anne Hathaway
Attending the premiere of “Colossal”, the actress wore a calf-length off-the-shoulder Rodarte dress with embroidered details all over and floral embellishment on the hips. She completed the look with a Francesco Russo ankle strapped sandals.
Over 400 films are scheduled to be shown between 8 and 18 September – all premieres set the best opportunities to spot the brightest stars.
