Body Whitening Scrub – Finding Even Skin Tone in a Bottle

Many people experience differing pigmentation areas on their bodies; sometimes it is due to genetics, sometimes to scarring, and sometimes it is simply a build-up of calluses or dead skin cells. Whatever the reason, you may wish to even out your skin tone with a product that can leave you looking refreshed and attractive. A body whitening scrub can help in multiple ways in your quest for beautiful skin. The scrubs often contain gentle exfoliating ingredients, and the scrub itself can contain anything from sugar, oatmeal or even salt. When you use a scrub on a regular basis, you can have smooth skin.

If you would like to find a body whitening scrub that contains natural ingredients, you can either make your own or you can buy organic products. Many of them will contain buttermilk or lemon juice, which acts as a whitening agent, and will also use brown sugar or salt for the exfoliating action. There are many recipes online for home-made beauty products, but be sure you use natural and non-irritating ingredients and follow the directions carefully. If you prefer to buy your products, there are several lines, including Burt’s Bees, which specialize in natural or organic beauty and skin care products.

For a manufactured product that can be used as a body whitening scrub, you should investigate the ingredients in each product carefully. Typically, they will contain a bleaching agent or pigmentation blocker, a moisturizer to help soothe reddened skin, a sea salt or other rough crystal for exfoliation and some will also include sun-block or pore minimizers. It is possible to find all of your beauty needs in one little package. However, remember that it is only recommended that you use a scrub once a week, in order to reduce irritation. Some side effects, such as redness or irritation are possible.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to treat yourself to a spa once in a while, you may find that a good spa can rub you down with a body whitening scrub that will leave your skin silky smooth and fresh. You can often purchase samples or new skin brightening products from the spa itself if you have enjoyed the treatment that was used, and this allows you to sample from different kinds of products before you buy. In addition, a spa may be able to focus on particular areas, such as the elbows, that may need more whitening than others.
