Cellulaze Cellulite Treatment: Worth a Try?
If you are a woman, chances are, you have been battling with cellulites ever since you could possibly remember! Therefore like others who, with you, make up the 80% of women who have to painfully stare at and live with their cellulites everyday, you have most likely tried applying every cellulite cream, as well as scrub, wear tights, lose weight, and exercise to try to permanently get rid of your stubborn cellulites but, to no avail.
What Causes Cellulites?
The reason why these “treatment options” for cellulites fail to deliver is because these are not aptly tackling the root cause of the problem. Although it is suspected that gender, age and genes are the major determinants of cellulites, these have yet to be validated.
Cellulaze is a new clinical procedure which has gained the approval of the US Food and Drug Administration only in 2012. It is designed to address the real cause of those bumps and ripples that ruin your skin complexion. According to Cynosure, the company behind this amazing cellulite breakthrough, the procedure is designed to tackle the fats and fibers that pull on your skin, causing it to dimple.
How does Cellulaze work? What results can you expect?
Cellulaze, unlike traditional cellulite solutions, including other expensive clinical procedures, pills and creams, goes underneath your skin to release the trapped fat cells that cause bumps on your skin surface by cutting the fibers that trap them using a laser. The same device is used to melt away the fats and excess fibers.
This process, which lasts for at least one hour, effectively stops the pulling on your skin which gives it a dimpled look, while also smoothening out the skin’s surface. More specifically, based on an independent study, the following results were observed:
- 93% of patients were happy with the results, and said that they will recommend Cellulaze to their friends
- 25% thicker skin
- 29% improved elasticity
The same study showed too that positive results were visible right after operation but also extended for up to one year with minimal side effects.
Are there any side effects?
The procedure uses localized anaesthesia only, and therefore only numbs very specific sections of your body, particularly those areas where the laser will be injected. Tiny holes bored in to your skin will cause swelling and will limit your movement for up to two days.
By far, no long-term side effects have been reported from the people who have availed of the procedure. However, Cellulaze is still a relatively new procedure and lifelong side effects cannot be evaluated at this point.
A Cellulaze procedure can cause $2,500 minimum and goes up depending on the size of the area that will be treated and the severity of cellulite problem. While in reality, cellulites do not signal any health condition that calls for their rapid elimination from the body, it can cause emotional and psychological pains for some people who may have lost self-esteem or may have been bullied even, because of the resulting dimply skin. In which cases, the price is worth every penny.
Cellulite refers to fat deposits under the surface of the skin giving it a dimpled, irregular appearance. The vast majority of women have cellulite, some estimates are as high as 90 percent. Cellulite is routinely found in the thighs, hips, buttocks, and stomach. Unfortunately, maintaining an optimal body weight, eating healthy, staying active, and even regular exercise may not be enough to combat cellulite.
