Creams to Fight Cellulite
Cellulite is a problem with the skin on the buttocks, thighs, and sometimes arms of mostly women across not only the United States but also across the globe. Cellulite really cannot be prevented but it can be treated with a variety of different natural remedies, medications, exercises, dieting or even creams. Cellulite appears on the body looking like cottage cheese and women become very self-conscious about their Cellulite , especially during the summer months when it is time to don a bathing suit and head to the pool or beach. Some doctors have found that exercising does not really do a good job when it comes to getting rid of cellulite but some people have had success with removing cellulite from their body by exercising. Another way to help prevent cellulite is to change the diet a person employs.
One of the most popular laboratories in the cosmetic industry today, Phytomer Laboratories, has created a cream that will help to fight that stubborn Cellulite . The cream is called Ultim’Reflex Smoothing Emulsion for Stubborn Cellulite. The chief ingredient is marine peptides, which are derived from Chlorella. The main ingredient is used to fight excess fat and the hardening network of collagen fibres that surround the adipocytes. If this cream is used by people with cellulite then their skin will feel more supple and thinner while also appearing restructured. Another new cream from the same company is BodyDelic. BodyDelic is said to prevent or reduce the appearance of cellulite on the body.
There are hundreds of different cellulite creams on the market today that claim to treat the appearance of cellulite and help to remove cellulite from the skin. Six of the most popular and common cellulite creams to be purchased today include the following:
- Revitol Cellulite Lotion
- Murad Cellulite Cream
- Dermed Celluliterx Lipotherm Contour Cream
- Bliss Fat Girl Slim
- Cellex-C Cellulite Lotion
- Cellulean Cream
A study performed by Neutrogena claims that 70 percent of women have cellulite and more women have it than men because women have thinner skin, which causes the cellulite to appear more often. Anti-cellulite creams tout ingredients such as caffeine, retinal, and the antioxidant DMAE as the special ingredients that are supposed to cure the problem known as cellulite. More often than not cellulite appears on women during their adolescence years on the hips, thighs, and buttocks. Doctors across the globe have not come up with any scientific evidence that cellulite can be fought by creams or other medications. Instead, the doctors say that women who use these creams will be sorely disappointed in the results.
“So-called cellulite is the natural anatomic contour characteristic of many women’s thighs and buttocks,” Dr. Garry S. Brody said. “It is unrelated to weight gain or loss. There is absolutely no surgical or medical solution to women’s dislike of this appearance except for the psychological self-deception of wanting to believe the ads.” Brody is a professor of plastic surgery at the University of Southern California.
Cellulite can affect people of all ages and body types and can be notoriously difficult to get rid of. While there are certainly no miracle cures, using specially formulated creams and treatments along with a healthy diet and exercise plan can reduce the appearance of the dimpled skin affected by cellulite. Creams and lotions that contain stimulating ingredients such as caffeine are particularly beneficial as they help move toxins out the body while other natural ingredients are used to condition the skin, giving it a firmer, tighter appearance which further reduces the look of the affected area.
