DDF Fade Gel: Does DDF Fade Gel Work?
DDF Fade Gel Overview
Resulting due to the evolution of a physician’s 25-year career focused on improving the skin’s health and appearance for New York City’s residents is Doctor’s Dermatological Formula (DDF) which was established in 1995.Dr. Howard Sobel sought to combine aesthetic medical technology with cosmetic skincare. With the influences of nutritional, dermatological and biochemical expertise, DDF demonstrated that impressive results were attainable with a medically designed, over-the-counter skincare line. As a result, DDF’s mission evolved to include the motto, “Cleanse. Protect. Treat.” With that in mind, DDF created a full retail-based skincare line devoted to treating skin issues usually restricted to the dermatologist’s chair, such as preventative and restorative anti-aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, sun protection and a host of skin conditions.
Much like most cosmeceutical websites, DDFSkincare.com wastes no time introducing its aging and problem skin niche to visitors in a colorful yet modest color scheme. With a tagline “From Promises to Results”, the website’s main menu bar allows shopping by skin issue which includes Anti-Aging Restorative, Anti-Aging Preventative, Acne, Sensitive Allergic, Hyperpigmentation, and Sun Protection. The three boxes that occupy the webpage’s center include feature products, issues and events. Below that reside customer favorites within the four DDF categories of Cleanse, Protect, Treat and Rxtra. The product pages are informationally-anorexic, only containing a brief description, the price and a list of both active and inactive ingredients.
DDF Fade Gel – Product Description
Supporting the hyperpigmentation category within the Treat segment of DDF’s motto is a host of products designed to relieve the discoloration that plagues the appearance of skin as it ages. DDF Fading Gel being among them, the DDFSkincare.com website provides an array of other offers targeting the emergence of brown spots which affect the appearance of skin due to age, lack of sun protection, medication and hormone changes to name a few.
Containing 2% Hydroquinone, a well-known ingredient for challenging age spots, DDF Fade Gel effectively lightens hyperpigmentation, fades age spots and evens the skin’s complexion with additional ingredients such as Glycolic, Kojic, Salicylic and Azelaic Acids. At $52 per half ounce bottle, DDF Fade Gel has garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews which matched my own past experience. I used an earlier version a few years back with really positive results. The only reason I stopped is I felt it was a little drying and based on what I read about the Hydroquinone, the earlier version of DDF Fade Gel packaged in a brown tinted bottle was not conducive to maximizing Hydroquinone’s shelf life. It is encouraging to see that the newest version of DDF Fade Gel is a solid colored bottle that blocks out light.

DDF Fade Gel – The Bottom Line
Twenty-five years of dermatological experience and a highly effective and potent champion ingredient in the battle against hyperpigmentation come together in DDF Fade Gel. A great product was made better with the swapping of the shelf-life inhibiting brown tinted bottle for a more effectiveness-lengthening solid bottle. High third-party reviews and my own experience make recommending this product an easy endorsement to make.
