Growth and Development

Human hair undergoes three stages during growth and development. One of which is the anagen- growing phase. In the case of eyelashes, this stage takes place within 30 to 45 days. Another stage is the catagen- transition stage. The follicle is prevented to develop new lashes, so eyelashes within this phase are no longer growing. Fallen eyelash will not grow back until the catagen phase is over.

The final phase is the telogen- resting stage. During this stage, most hair, including eyelashes fall out. Hair will rest for 100 days before falling out. The loss of eyelash within this stage denotes a faster rate of growing new eyelash because growth cycle was not interrupted. It does not affect if do eyelashes grow back, whether on what stage your eyelash was lost or the manner how it was lost.

When yanking out eyelashes and plucking them, the process of growing back will not going to be as fast as the natural way when it is lost. It may take weeks or months before your lashes grow back especially when forcibly pulled out. The period of time of growing them back does not depend on whether what stage they were removed. Eyelashes will definitely grow back.

Faster Growth, Is it Possible?

With the fast-paced development of products nowadays, market is now offering various goods and merchandises that can aid you in making your eyelashes grow faster. Using other products may also cease the growth of your lashes. In this case, you are advised to understand the growth cycle of your lashes to know if eyelashes grow back when you lose them either naturally or deliberately.
