Best Anti-Acne Recipes: 4 Recipes You Must Try to Fight Acne

Acne can surface as a result of excessively oily skin. While that is true, many other factors – unhygienic practices, improper skincare routine, harsh products, unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, stress – causes you to breakout and you need to address the root cause to finally see your skin blemish free once again. Many times acne is a sign that your body is experiencing an imbalance which sends your hormones to run haywire and your skin to misbehave.

Below are four recipes you can try from salad to main course, to your drink and dessert. Emulate these recipes in your daily diet and you should see improvements on your swollen and irritated face in as short as three days.

1. Highlander Salad with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar: This starter jumpstarts your anti-acne meal with loads of vitamins, minerals, antioxidantsand Omega-3s for healthier skin that is more resistant to infection, inflammation and damage. Its olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing further boosts its anti-acne power with even more antioxidants to fight acne.

Ingredients:
Rommaine Lettuce
Cherry tomatoes
Walnuts and almonds
Oranges
Wild Berries
Sunflower seeds
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

To prepare:
Simply cut and mix all the dry ingredient together.
Mix the balsamic vinegar and olive oil in a smaller bowl. Add season to taste.
Pour in the dressing and give the salad a quick toss.

2. Baked Salmon Belly with Marbled Potatoes and Honey Lemon Sauce:

Baked Salmon

Salmon is loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids, a powerful anti-inflammatory you can get from healthy fats, including those that you can obtain from salmon fat.

Ingredients:

Salmon belly, 1/4 kg
Marbled Potatoes, 1/2 cup
Honey, 1 tsp.
Lemon juice of 1/2 lemon fruit
Salt and pepper to taste

To prepare: (1) Place salmon and marbled potatoes on a pan drizzled with olive oil to keep the fish from sticking. Put a dash of salt and pepper to taste. Add herbs such as onion chives and basil if desired.

(2) Bake in a pre-heated oven. When the potatoes cook, the belly cooks too. (3) In a small bowl, mix the honey and lemon. Top onto your baked fish and potatoes.
