Illumagen Review: Does This Anti-aging Cream Really Deliver Results?
Illumagen is presented as an anti-aging supplement that will provide support for healthy and radiant appearing skin. It is a cream which you are intended to apply around your face, especially underneath your chin, on a regular basis, providing its ingredients the opportunity to permeate your tissues and nourish the skin cells. This product is sold only through the manufacturer’s website, with a thirty-day trial supply available for about $5 USD; if you do not cancel within fourteen days, you are enrolled in an autoshipment program that will send you another month’s supply each month at a cost of about $95 per month.
Unfortunately we could not find information regarding the active ingredients in Illumagen. There were some references made to the inclusion of peptides in other reviews, and the promotional materials say that it does NOT work the same way that Botox injections do; however, there was very little information on what it does, other than provide benefits to the skin when used regularly. Without this information it is difficult to judge how well it might work for you, or how quickly.
Apply this product twice per day after washing and gently drying your skin. It is intended to be used on the entire face, although as always with such products, be careful around the eyes.
- No known side effects.
- Autoshipment program can be convenient
- Trial period
- There is no clinical evidence for the claims of how well this product functions.
- No information was provided by the manufacturer on the ingredients in this product.
- Monthly autoshipment price is quite high
- Automatic shipment programs can be difficult to “unsubscribe” from
Illumagen does not present a positive image compared to other anti-aging supplement products, as there is essentially no information regarding what is in it, much less providing clinical information on how well it might work for a given fraction of the buying product. This, combined with the “trial and auto-shipment” sales method, makes it hard to have confidence in the product, especially given its high price if you don’t cancel the trial.
There are many beauty products out there with stronger records and lower prices, and we encourage you to shop around thoroughly before making your choice.
As we age the composition, texture and appearance of our skin changes. Signs of skin aging include wrinkles, fine lines, loss of moisture, uneven tone, and dull, tired-looking skin. There are countless anti-wrinkle creams on the market promising to make skin look and feel younger. Many anti-wrinkle creams promise everything short of a facelift or to provide the much sought after "fountain of youth". In reality most are just moisturizers marketed as anti-aging products.
Below you’ll find some of the most effective wrinkle serum/cream formulations on the market today, in our opinion.
