Instructions on How to Grow Long Eyelashes

What woman does not wish to grow long eyelashes? Every woman covets the idea of having a long set of eyelashes. Every time you see a commercial of a beautiful model with luxuriously long lashes, you cannot help the sigh of envy that escapes your lips. Fortunately, it is entire possible to encourage long lash growth so that you can also achieve these envious look. Long lashes add dramatic appeal to the eyes. In fact, eyelashes are a great form of expression. You widen your eyes in surprise, lower your lashes in shyness or shame, and bat your eyelashes during flirtatious conversation.

If you have sparse, short eyelashes, it can seriously put a hinder on your self-confidence. Rather than allowing yourself to feel embarrassed by your lack of long eyelashes, follow a few simple remedies that allow you to grow long eyelashes. For years, women have sworn by the use of oils and petroleum jellies. Apply a dab of olive oil or petroleum jelly to the lash line starting from the outer corner of the eye and working your way inward using a cotton swab. Leave the oil on for approximately ten minutes or even overnight. Rinse with tepid water and repeat daily for longer eyelashes.

Use serums containing volumizing properties that add length to your lashes. The lashes go through stages of growth. Serums can enhance the growth stage so that you can grow long eyelashes in no time. Many serums contain vitamins and minerals to help strengthen the eyelashes, which is particularly important if you wish to maintain your envious looking long lashes. Continue applying this serum on a daily basis or as instructed. You can purchase these natural serums at local pharmacy or convenience store but make sure and check eyelash enhancer reviews first so you know you are not wasting your money.

Lastly, take care of your lashes. Once you are able to grow long eyelashes, the last thing you want to do is damage them. Damaging the lashes can cause them to fall out. If they fall out you will find yourself starting all over again. Therefore, avoid makeups that contain harsh chemicals. Although you may be tempted to apply mascara to your eyelashes, make sure you only use mascara that does not use unnecessary chemicals. Even after you obtain long lashes, you should continue to apply oils or a petroleum jelly to maintain the strength of your lashes.
