Lierac Phytotastil Overview

The product Lierac Phytotastil is made by the French company Lierac. They produce a large number of beauty treatments and this particular formula is designed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. These marks can occur for a number of reasons – pregnancy, weight gain and loss, puberty – and while it is preferable to try to prevent the marks from occurring in the first place it is possible to improve their severity. Lierac Phytotastil is shown on the official Lierac website and also those of retailers that carry the brand. Unfortunately there is very limited information available about the product and although it is said to have performed well in clinical trials, no evidence of this is shown. No customer testimonials are shown on the company website but there are some independent consumer reviews to be seen online, most of which are favorable.

Lierac Phytotastil does not appear to have a money back guarantee of any kind and it is sold at a cost of $39.00 for 75ml.

Lierac Phytotastil – Product Description

Lierac PhytotastilThe ingredients used in Lierac Phytotastil are listed on the product site but they are not explained in any detail. It appears that the key active substances used in the formula are natural plant extracts that included Horsetail, Alchemilla and Ivy. Due to the nature of the cream, it is assumed that they have some ability to reduce the redness and dry texture of the stretch marks while also imparting moisture to keep the skin supple and elastic. The formula does contain a large number of preservatives but seems to be fragrance free although it is not known if it is also hypo-allergenic.

Application instructions are not shown for this product although it is likely best used on newer stretch marks and also during pregnancy for prevention.

Lierac Phytotastil – The Bottom Line

Despite the attractive website and packaging of the Lierac Phytotastil brand, it cannot be fully recommended as there is really no explanation given as to how it works. While the plant extracts in the formula are likely beneficial, it would be helpful to have a more comprehensive explanation and it is a concern that the product uses such a large number of preservatives. Considering the cost of this product, the consumer would be wise to seek out a better known brand to reduce or prevent stretch marks.
