McCartney Storms Her Daughter’s Fashion Show

Monday was a surprise for Stella, the daughter to Paul McCartney, following her dad’s raid to the Paris Fashion Show along with rapper Kanye West and Woody Harrelson, an actor.

Also present at the front row were Mario Testino, Peruvian fashion photographer, and British models and socialite sisters poppy Delevinge.

McCartney who is a former member of the Beatle music band rushed on stage the last minute prompting dozens of journalists and photographers to do their things which gave the ushers a hard time before the catwalk show could start.

Clad For The Occasion

Stella McCartney’s outfit matched the occasion in simple, relaxed lines silhouettes amplified by pant legs, hems and long sleeves, reflecting a confident autumn-winter collection at the Paris’s 19th century opera building. She also looked simple and relaxed for the event.

Most conspicuous were black dresses, hugging shoulders and joined waists with grey cast woolen outfits comprising of simple dresses to official clad.

While making her introduction notes, Stella said that her themes were “celebrating freedom” and “teasing sensuality.” The 43-year old celeb who is also a vegetarian and an animal advocate also demonstrated her black and white long-haired coats made from what seemed to be faux fur.

To make her lines appear even slimmer, Stella was clad in an eveningwear which had touches of other materials along her shoulders and ribs.

Real leather and fur marked the center-stage in the late Monday catwalk fashion show at Hermes, formerly saddle-maker house. Timelessly elegant garments mostly on riding clothes were presented while the elite label played their equine roots showing ultra-fine leather jackets mixed with silk tops and dresses in a mix of colors.

According to Nadege Vanhee-Cybulsk, Young designer aged 36, the aim of the design was to display an image for a cosmopolitan woman and all women rather than a Frenchwoman. Noting that she respected the codes of excellence of the house of Hermes, Nadege said she chose unexpected materials as merino wool which is stylish.

The bleary-eyed guests at the event were treated with coffee and cookies from Kenzo.
