We all love a new fragrance, and there’s every reason to be excited about the First Fragrance from Miu Miu.

A fragrance that’s as natural as can be, and a feeling that evokes a timeless classic, The first ever fragrance from Miu Miu was launched in the last quarter of 2015.

About Miu Miu’s First Fragrance

The Miu Miu image is a classic woman who cares about modern issues and with contemporary ways of dealing with the world.  The First Fragrance from Miu Miu reflects such woman – sophisticated, real, opinionated, and mysterious.

Miu Miu has decided that its brand image and the feelings that the First Fragrance evokes is best embodied by 24 year old French-English actress Stacy Martin.  “It’s so earthy,” was how the actress described the First Fragrance from Miu Miu in an interview with Glamour Magazine.

First Fragrance comes in a turquoise colored opaque bottle, capped with a bright red flat circle and with the brand Miu Miu in embossed letters signed in gold color.  The Eau de Parfum is now availble in 30, 50 and 100 ml volumes, and released with other body and skincare products that include body cream, body lotion and shower gel.

Manufacturer Information and its claims about Miu Miu’s First Fragrance

Miu Miu is a powerhouse brand focused on women.  A play of Miuccia Prada’s name, Miu Miu is a high fashion brand of clothing spun off from the House of Prada which was begun in 1993.  Prada is no stranger to women’s issues, having supported a number of films that put women and women’s issues at the center of the spotlight yet, at the same time, having suffered from allegations of sexual harrassment and discrimination by a former brand executive.

How Does Miu Miu’s First Fragrance Work?

Miu Mius First Fragrance

A classy and refreshing treat for the senses, The First Fragrance from Miu Miu is achieved from the combination of high notes of Lily of the Valley and undertones of Akigalawood.  Imagine the clean and floral scent of Lily of the Valley mixed with the spicy and woody accents of Akigalawood.  The resulting fragrance matches a woman with a refreshing personality and tucked within her, a mysterious flair.

Ingredients in Miu Miu’s First Fragrance

First Fragrance was carefully put together by world renowned perfumer Danielle Roche Andrier, who has previously signed off on other popular fragrances from the House of Prada, as well as for other fashion houses that include Bulgari and Bottega Veneta, to name a few.

Lily of the Valley is the scent highlighted in this new fragrance.  Middle notes include whifs of jasmine, rose and green notes, and the exotic and quiet yet distinct scent of Akigalawood.  Givaudan created and holds the rights to the distinctive, characteristic smell of Akigalawood, made from the unexpectedly desirable scents of patchouli, pepper, and the woody scent of oud — a scent thst comes from the Southeast Asian tree called agar.

All of these scents combined, Miu Miu’s First Fragrance starts with a citrus and floral scent that, when combined with the body’s natural scent and oils, gradually turn muskier, earthier, sexier.
Apart from the scents combined to create the First Fragrane, information on the complete ingredients list is not available.
