Nature’s Shea Butter Overview

Nature’s Shea Butter is a line of moisturizing skin creams that hydrate and nourish the skin. The products are sold online from the company that has been in business since 1998. The site is very well designed and attractive although it is limited in the amount of information regarding each individual product. There is a section about the philosophy of the company and a number of customer testimonials. All the Nature’s Shea Butter formulas are completely natural and free of animal ingredients.

The cost of the Whipped, unrefined Shea Butter is $16.50 and most of the company’s skin care is in this price range. No special offers or free samples are offered and there is a very limited 5 day exchange policy.

Nature’s Shea Butter – Product Description

Nature's Shea ButterNature’s Shea Butter is available in several different formulations but the basic product is the Unrefined Ivory Shea. It can be used for a number of reasons including the prevention of stretch marks that can occur during pregnancy or weight loss. It is said that Shea Butter is rich in Vitamins A and E which makes the skin more supple and elastic, decreasing wrinkles and making the surface less susceptible to stretch marks. Additionally Vitamin A can help reduce the appearance of existing scars and marks.

The Shea butter used in the formula is from Ghana and is said to be of the highest quality. There are no directions for the application of the cream, but it likely has the most effect when applied twice a day, during and after pregnancy.

Nature’s Shea Butter – Advantages

  • The formula is all-natural
  • The ingredients are safe to use
  • The cream is affordable
  • Customer testimonials are shown
  • Nature’s Shea Butter has an exchange policy

Nature’s Shea Butter – Drawbacks

  • Individual products are not explained in detail
  • Scientific testing data is not provided
  • The exchange period is very short
  • The formula is not specifically made for stretch marks
  • Nature’s Shea Butter is only sold online

Nature’s Shea Butter – The Bottom Line

Nature’s Shea Butter would attract the type of customer who prefers using all natural ingredients which are free of animal-derived substances. Although there is no evidence on the website to show exactly how well the product performs in controlled clinical testing, it is known that Shea Butter is a very nourishing ingredient and that used on a regular basis can improve the appearance and texture of the skin. Keeping the skin nourished during pregnancy will certainly decrease the chances of developing stretch marks although it may not be the best product on the mark for fading existing marks.
