Pumpkin Enzyme Peel Overview

Peter Thomas Roth’s Pumpkin Peel is designed to rid skin of excess debris. The products key ingredient are pumpkin enzymes and vitamin A. The product is formulated for all skin types; oily, dry, normal and combination. The manufacturer has a complete skincare line that includes a variety of products like; scrubs, masques, eye care, cleansers, tonics and much more.

The products website was very disappointing. It failed to explain the benefits of the product, or educate the potential consumer. It is unfortunate that the manufacturer decided not to include these elements in the website. I was led to find third party sources. A majority of the third party sources had less than favorable things to say about the product. As a consumer I found the lack of information as an annoyance. I was inconvenienced and had to look for other sources to find information that the manufacturer should have provided.

On the other hand there were a few favorable features that should be mentioned about the company’s website. Number one, the manufacturer offers free shipping for orders that are over fifty dollars. And number two, the manufacturer includes two free samples with every order. Besides being purchased from the website , Peter Thomas Roth products are sold exclusively at Sephora. The product is expensive, running forty four dollars for three point three ounces.

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel – Product Description

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Peel is comprised of two key ingredients, pumpkin enzymes and vitamin A. The pumpkin enzymes in the product eat away the dead skin. Vitamin A increases the skins cellular turn over. In addition vitamin A also increases the production of collagen.

The manufacturer’s neglect to provide product specifications, and benefits was unfortunate. When reviewing what other consumers had to say about the product there was a common theme. The product claims to have a pumpkin base, but it appears to be more of an aloe based gel. In addition to the complaints about the product consistency many of the consumers who used the product stated that the cost greatly exceeded the value.

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel Advantage

  • The product contains pumpkin enzymes to rid the skin of excess debris.
  • The product contains vitamin A to aid in the production of collagen, and cellular turn over.

  • The product is aloe based.
  • The product is not an effective exfoliate.
  • The product’s website is not informative.
  • The product is expensive
  • There is no evidence that proves the product more effective than its competitors.

Pumpkin Enzyme Peel – The Bottomline

The Pumpkin Peel, by Peter Thomas Roth does not deliver on it’s promise. The failures of the products website leads a visitor to search third party sources. Unfortunately many of the third party sources have less than favorable things to say about the product. One of the most common grievances is the poor results sustained. The product is expensive. Most consumers cited that the product did not do what it promised and it was not made from the base that it purports.

In conclusion, Peter Thomas Roth’s Pumpkin Peel did not provide enough evidence to justify the purchase.

Many companies promise to have created the ideal facial skin exfoliator, but it is important to analyze each of these products in a nonbiased manner. An ideal facial exfoliator should be able to penetrate deep into layers of skin in order to cleanse these skin cells at the same time that it exfoliates them. Such an exfoliator must also effectively remove all dead skin cells, and the best products will even minimize the appearance of wrinkles and other fine lines. The overall effect of using a facial exfoliator should be noticeably brighter, cleaner skin. Below is are several top exfoliator products.
