Product Description

Radix Eye Cream is an eye cream intended to help promote a healthy-looking appearance in the thin skin around your eyes. The product is presented as being both an alternative to traditional cosmetic medical treatments (Botox is specifically mentioned) and “the Hollywood secret” by which many actresses appear younger than you might expect. It is only sold by the manufacturer. There is a 14 day trial, and no information on its price after that period ends; however, you will be automatically subscribed to receive more product on a monthly basis. Based on other, similar products, the monthly cost will likely be in the neighborhood of $90 US.

Radix Eye Cream Ingredients

Radix Eye Cream

Unfortunately we were not able to find any information on the ingredients in Radix Eye Cream online. This presents some problems to any consumer – the biggest one being that it’s impossible to avoid a product with ingredients that are allergenic for you – but what we did find suggests that some form of molecular compound is included, possibly peptides.

Directions

We couldn’t find any use information for this product, either. However, similar products tend to follow a pattern: wash and dry your skin and then apply it to your eyes before gently massaging it in, either once or twice a day.

Advantages

  • The automatic subscription program can be convenient, as it means you will be given a supply of the product on a reliable basis.
  • A clinical study is cited (although not linked to) regarding the effectiveness of this product compared to a placebo.

Disadvantages

  • Almost no information is provided on what is in the product, other than a nebulous “molecules”, which makes it hard to be sure you will not have a poor reaction
  • No price information is provided, although similar products tend to be very expensive on a per-month basis
  • “Trial and autoship” programs can be unreliable, even if the product works well for you, it might be cancelled in favor of a similar one
  • Few customer reviews and testimonials are available for this product.
  • Little information is available about the manufacturer of the product.
  • It is only sold online

Conclusion

Radix Eye Cream is an eye cream that is unfortunately similar to many other products in the modern online marketplace: long on promises and short on details. Their cited clinical study appears to be unavailable for others to view, and they provide no information whatsoever about how the product is intended to function – or even what is in it. There is also no information on pricing other than a “free trial,” and while we estimate that it is probably around $90 per month based on other products, the price could be lower – or higher – or even subject to change. You would likely be better served in finding a more reputable product that gives you more information to go on before you commit to its use.

The most common eye area issues are puffiness, dark circles, wrinkles and crow’s feet, and loss of hydration. There are countless eye creams available on the market today, making it seem nearly impossible to find the “right one” that meets our specific under eye needs. It is imperative to find a product that has been formulated to address a variety of complex eye area problems.

Below you’ll find some of the most effective eye cream formulations on the market today, in our opinion.

Also Remember These Dermatologist Recommended Important Tips:

  • Age has nothing to do with the lines that appear on the corners of your eyes... it's a combination of heredity and careless abuse of the area.
  • Skin is skin... it all needs to be cared for in one way or another. For my younger readers, this means not pulling on the skin when removing eye makeup.
  • The eye area is prone to fine lines and wrinkles, so it is really important not over-work the area, squint, and stay away from smokey rooms. Your eyes won't like that either.
  • One of the best ways to protect this area of your face is to put on a pair of sunglasses every single time you go outside spring, summer, fall and winter.
  • There are very few oil glands in the eye area, so it can dry out very quickly, especially if you spend a great deal of time out of doors.
  • When you chose an eye cream, be sure to choose one that is especially formulated for this delicate skin. Don't use a day cream that could be full of ingredients that will irritate this area. Too rich a cream can cause as many problems as ignoring the area.
