Skinception Reviews – Should You Trust This Product?

Skinception Overview

Skinception is a manufacturer of quality skin care products. They have several different brands including one specifically for stretch marks called the Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy. The website that presents all the products is professional in appearance but the tone is sometimes ‘over-the-top’ which does deter from the image of the brand. There are a number of customer testimonials and endorsements from certain medical professionals. Before and After photos are shown and there is a full section that provides the results of consumer testing. According to these tests, Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy produced a reduction in stretch mark length by up to 52% and in depth by 72%.

All Skinception products can be ordered directly from the manufacturer and there are a number of different packages offered. The minimum order, one bottle, costs $69.95 but there is also a ‘moms to be’ special which includes free gifts and a reduced cost per unit. All Skinception purchases have a 90-day money back guarantee.

Skinception – Ingredients

Regestril, Darutoside, Pro-Coll-One +, Pro-Seveltyl

Skinception – Product Description

Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy is designed to not only prevent stretch marks from occurring during pregnancy (or weight loss program) while also reducing the appearance of existing marks. By using the cream on a regular basis it is said that the cream fades the purple/ red color of the marks while also improving the production of collagen in the skin. Collagen helps ‘plump’ the skin, making the texture more even and youthful in appearance.

Not all the ingredients used in Skinception are listed or explained on the official website, just those that are the most active such as Regestril and Darutoside. It is these two blends that are mainly responsible for decreasing the size of the stretch marks, while the Pro-Coll-One + stimulates collagen production. All application directions are provided for Skinception and it is said that most users see an improvement in 2 months of use.

Skinception – Advantages

  • Skinception should not cause allergic reactions
  • Customer reviews are shown
  • Skinception has a 90-day satisfaction guarantee
  • Key ingredients are listed
  • Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy has been clinically tested

Skinception – Drawbacks

  • Not all ingredients are explained in detail
  • Skinception is expensive
  • The website tone is off-putting

Skinception – The Bottom Line

It is unfortunate that the manufacturer of Skinception Intensive Stretch Mark Therapy chooses to use such gimmicky language for their site as, unlike several other stretch mark creams, they can actually prove that it works. While the ingredients may not be overly familiar to many consumers, they do seem to have the ability to reduce the severity of the marks in terms of color and size. It should be noted though that consumers will have more chance of success if they start using the cream as soon as early in their pregnancy as possible.

Smells great, but does it work?
I received my order within a few days and even got a phone call from their representatives which is great customer service. The product smells like fruity pebbles and it looks thick but has a watery texture when applied to the skin. I’m on my 4th day of using twice daily (for stretch marks on the stomach) and I’ve noticed that it will make your skin dry looking if you put too much on. It’s best to just give a light coating. My skin is much softer and my skin tone is evening out. I’m going to continue using it for the recommended 2 month period. I’ve tried everything from palmers, bio-oil, maellys B-flat, and various other products with little to no results. So we will see how well this product does on my demon stretch marks.
