Spring 2017 Makeup Trends – Bring The Colors Of Spring To Your Make Up
Spring is in! As you box your thick wool sweaters and put away your winter trench coats, you know it’s time to bring more of nature’s blooms in Spring to your wardrobes. You know where else you need more bright pinks, pale blues, sea greens and fierce violets? Your makeup! Yeah, you heard that right because that’s what’s been trending on the runways of the world’s most fashionable capitals this past month — from New York, London, Milan and Paris, baby!
Here’s Makeup Styling You Must Learn This Spring
The trend is generally minimalist, almost no makeup, with a pop of color on the eyes or lips. The techniques are so easy to do but the absolute prerequisite is naturally beautiful skin. To get you started for your Spring look, follow these simple tips for a more flawless complexion:
- Deep Exfoliate. Get professional cleaning done on you if you must.
- Deep Moisturize. Trending skin is dewy, smooth and no cover-ups necessary.
- Detox, Hydrate And Get Plenty Of Rest And Sleep. These will help perk up your skin.
We know you can’t wait any longer to see what’s been trending. Here’s a quick rundown:
1. Orange-Red Metallic Gradient Lipstick
This look, worn by models at the Jason Wu runway was perfectly relaxed, cool and elegant. Nobody thought that bold orange lips could be worn casually, hassle-free just like that. The vibrant orange shade also makes it a great complement to the abundance of colors in Spring. To play up the light some more, brush your lips with a brightening powder using a broad brush.
2. Bold And Bright
Eye shadows will be worn like eye spotlights. Even MAC Cosmetics which has been traditionally known for its dark matte lipsticks just could not resist the trend. This year’s new product collection launch, the MAC Work It Out, features an interesting spectrum of very bright colors for the eyes, including light greens and sky blues for its mascara lineup. MAC suggests using these bold colors with sheer, barely there tinted lip gloss.
Radiate a naturally glowing skin with one of the best radiance cosmetics that you can get your hands on. Place it on top of a sheer, lightweight coverup like a BB cream. By illuminating your skin, your flaws, including dark marks and wrinkles, also appear less visible and, overall, your skin looks more youthful and flawless.
4. Eye Shadow Wore Like a Mask
We loved what Chanel did with that powder blue eyeshadow from last year’s Spring collection. From then, we’ve seen artists experiment on that eyeshadow powder more and more. This year, we are loving the fierce looking, extended purple eye shadow worn by the models at the Louis Vuitton fashion show.
5. Clear Cut Frosted Eye Shadows
We also saw single eye colors being drawn in clean, straight lines. Victoria Beckham had them on her models.
Makeup is a blessing, it allows us to hide our flaws. Only this season, it’s the perfect time to play.
