Vitamin B-3 is one of the vitamins that are necessary for eyelash growth. Vitamin B-3[3], also known as niacin, is important because it stimulates eyelash growth and helps to eliminate dry and brittle eyelashes. It also aids in the cellular reproduction in the eyelashes and keeps the eyelashes from falling out. Because this vitamin increases blood flow to the lashes it also helps them to grow in thicker than without the vitamin. Calcium is not a vitamin for eyelash growth but is instead a mineral. This mineral helps the lashes by keeping the eyelashes healthy and growing and keeps them from weakening and falling out. Adding these vitamins to a daily diet will help the person to grow better lashes.
