What is the Right Time to Start Using Anti-Aging Products?

While men may scoff at women’s use of anti-aging products at such an early age, women know that the sooner you begin an anti-wrinkle campaign, the longer you can hold off the signs of aging. As women age, their skin loses the elastin that keeps a taut surface on the skin. The loss of elastin will lead to sagging skin which in turn leads to wrinkles. Women have a much better chance of looking young if they can prevent wrinkles rather than treat them which is why it is better to begin using your anti-aging products as soon as possible.

What is the Right Time to Start Using Anti-Aging Products?

Anti-aging products can range from simple moisturizers to complex wrinkle treating creams. Generally, even at a very young age you need to ensure that you keep your skin moisturized on a regular and daily basis, since moisture is the single key ingredient to younger looking skin. Dry skin is haggard skin, and if you want a dewy and fresh looking complexion later in life, you have to prepare the groundwork by using moisturizers to prevent permanent damage from taking place. Prevention is truly the best way to stay looking young, and wrinkle creams that moisturize your skin are safe to use even for teenagers.

In addition to using moisturizing wrinkle creams, you need to start using sunblock as early in life as possible as well. The sun is one of the worst destroyers of skin there is. While a nice tan looks great, it also accelerates the aging process tremendously and if done often enough, will lead to a leathery texture for your skin. Stay out of the sun and use a good sunblock or even better, wrinkle creams that will moisturize as well as protect your skin from damaging UV and UVB rays.

Finally, staying fit and healthy will keep you looking young, so in addition to wrinkle creams, you need to be sure you eat a healthy diet, get plenty of exercise and above all, drink lots of water and fluids. Seventy percent of your body is made up of water and without the proper ration inside your body; your body will deplete it from your skin to get what it needs. Hydration and moisturizers are the two components to keeping your skin from aging prematurely. There is no way that you can begin your wrinkle prevention campaign too early because the sooner you start the longer your results will last.
