White is the New Color of Fall Season That Celebrities are Sporting
While the tans are still hot on the Tom Ford New York Fashion Week runways, and the blacks and deep blues ruled the Verace’s fall shows, the whites, such as those seen on the Dior models, have become among this Fall’s most fashionable favorites. Those well-loved white outfits of spring have crawled up the laces, silks, knits and tweeds of Fall.
Here’s how the most fashionable celebrities are wearing white this season:
1. Olivia Wilde
Undoubtedly one of Hollywood’s most beautiful faces and all-time best dressed, she attended the Oscars wearing a white Valentino electric pleated dress that had both sides of the shoulders running down to her breasts, all the way to her waist. A metallic choker completed the look.
2. Zendaya Coleman: Every young girl’s modern day, real life princess, Zendaya, rocked a Christian Siriano at the Paris Fashion Week. She wore straight cut, ankle length loose trousers in off white, with a long, knitted shawl across her shoulders and off one leg to the floor.
3. Amy Adams
Moving from just another actress to one of the big screen’s A-Listers, Amy Adams stars alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in “Nocturnal Animals” directed by Tom Ford. Naturally, she wore a Tom Ford during the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. She was seen on the red carpet in a one-shoulder, off-white gown with side slits, full poised with her hair pulled up.
4. Charlize Theron: Always classy with an attitude, Charlize walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival wearing a Dior tuxedo suit with a white, v-collared inner blouse that was left unbuttoned. Charlize starred in “The Last Face” which was premiered at the fest.
5. Gigi Hadid
Tommy x Gigi, a fashion collaboration between this world supermodel and Tommy Hilfiger, had plenty of whites and off-whites in the collection. The navy / sailor inspired collection included white, button accented stretch pants, off-white knit sweaters and plain inner tees also in white, all paired with — you guessed it! — super clean and bright white trainers. Who can forget her wow moment on the American Music Awards? She wore a long-slitted skirt with a cropped top and the bob that started the wet look hair trend.

6. Karlie Kloss: Perhaps this year’s most talked about white clothing piece will have to be Karlie Kloss’ white long gown at the MET Gala red carpet. She arrived at the party all-covered up with a matching coatlet over her shoulders. From there, she morphed into a curvaceous, over 6-feet model with laser cuts over her hips and breast, and a halter. For after-party, Karlie’s designer, Brandon Maxwell, cut her dress to turn into a mini dress.
