What is Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50?

Products labeled with “Sunsense” such as this one are formulated and manufactured by Ego Pharmaceuticals. The company is founded, based and headquartered in Australia where it has given life to some of the most well-known sunscreen brands and products for more than 60 years. The company is credited for manufacturing the first-ever sunscreen formulation that has ever been approved to be marketed and sold to the general public.

Sunsense Daily face invisible tint finish spf 50+, US $20 for a 75 g tube, is a sunscreen formulated to serve as moisturizer as well.

Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50- Does it really work

Based on claims made by the manufacturer, this product is capable of delivering the following benefits:

  • Deliver high potency and broad spectrum UVA/UVB with SPF 50+ sun protection that protects your skin daily from UV damage
  • Boost your skin’s moisture levels

This product works by simultaneously delivering sun protection and moisturization to your skin with a single application.

What are the ingredients in Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50

  • Nano Titanium Dioxide: A mineral ingredient that functions as a physical sunscreen that creates a physical barrier between the sun and your skin to keep UVA and UVB off of your skin
  • Benzophenone-3: Also known as Oxybenzone, is a chemical sunscreen
  • Niacinamide: Enhances your skin’s moisture content, it also helps restore cellular energy and healthy microcirculation to promote your skin’s optimal nourishment
  • Vitamin E: It works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the aging process. If we can fight off free radicals, then we can reduce wrinkles and keep the skin youthful-looking.

Benefits of Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50

  • This is a dual function product that places emphasis on sun protection first and moisturizer second that comes with a very high SPF50+ proof
  • This product is PABA-free, fragrance-free, silicone-free, and won’t clog and infect your pores.

Sunsense Daily Face Invisible Tint Finish SPF 50

  • The manufacturer does not include the percentage concentration of either the physical or chemical sunscreen active in this formulation, which makes it difficult to discern if it is at a potent enough level to protect your skin.
  • The formula lacks a wide variety of potent antioxidants that would have amplified the UV protection capability of this formulation along with providing added protection from other environmental factors, including free radicals that can degrade your skin and cells.
  • Sunsense Daily face invisible tint finish spf 50+ reviews appear contradictory when it comes to the formula being irritating to the skin, which indicates that different skin types will respond differently to this product.

Does Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50 have any Side Effects?

Based on this product’s composition, the following side effects may be experienced:

  • Skin irritations and allergic reactions due to several ingredients, including sunscreen actives.
  • Increased risk for irregularities in estrogen and endocrine-related functions due to parabens.
  • Increased risk for clogged pores, skin infection and breakouts due to Titanium Dioxide.

How to apply Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50

Sunsense Daily face invisible tint finish spf 50+ must be incorporated to be part of your regular morning skincare routine.

Final Verdict- Sunsense moisturising Face SPF 50

Sunsense Daily face invisible tint finish spf 50+ is a basic product that provides dual functions, that is, as sunscreen and moisturizer. However, there are many ingredients it misses out performing both functions. In the end, it hardly fairs well performing either function still, the value that you get is, more or less, commensurate to the price.

    I Couldn't Continue Taking These.
I have taken this supplement for 3 months but broke out in a rash after a few days. My body odor has changed significantly. All my bodily liquids smell very fishy. I couldn’t continue taking these.

    A No-Go For Me
While it did make my skin glowy and beautiful, the breakouts that appeared after using it make me hesitant to reach for this product again. This was the only thing I used on my face for a week while at the beach (other than my routine skincare), therefore it had to have been this product causing the breakouts.
